Injection Molding

Bold Solutions. Global Strength.

Offering design, prototyping, mold-making, production and assembly services.

Innovation has always been an integral part of Sonoco's
injection molding business.

More than 50 years ago, our injection molding business was one of the first to venture into the brand new technology of injection molding. Today, we still sell innovation, with 95% of what we make requiring a new injection mold.

And, unlike companies that offer "custom molding" but don’t own the molds, we offer design, prototyping, mold-making, production and assembly. So, when you bring an idea to us, we can drive the process for you not just in the U.S., but in plants in Mexico, Brazil, the Netherlands and Germany. No one is more committed than we are to following our corporate account customers around the world.

Injection-molded Cores and Tubes

Sonoco also offers a full line of injection-molded cores and tubes for applications requiring the tightest tolerances as carriers for a wide range of products and markets. Our engineering group draws on years of experience and industry knowledge to offer solutions to challenges that cannot be solved with a traditional paperboard, metal and plastic core or tube.
